I want to thank all members of Oseghe Edo Association Diaspora Community EDO STATE, Enowean Nosa Idehen, Madam Meg Okao, Lady Adesuwa, Mr Osas Ayezuma, Mr Nicholas Ogieva and few others that grace meeting for a successful deliberation and inauguration on 11th and 17th of September 2022. You have written your name in great book of the union. Layed a rock that gradually will grow into unmovable mountain. This is not a co-incident but according to how great oracle wants it.


Myself, Uwagboe Ogieva, president of the association, Mrs Maris Obasohan, Lady Edith Ero, Mr and Mrs Omogiate coordinators of Lagos /Ogun state branch and all dedicated registered members of the association stand with you.


Success is sure where all work together with understanding, patience and respect. Not many people are willing to join voluntarilly giving their services for benefit of others.


Oseghe Edo motive is Edo interest. Lay a legacy for unborn generation to live. Standing for “Uyi Edo ighi wi”. Brigding gap btw Edo in diaspora and mother land, The great Benin Kingdom. An NGO Organise to care for all members of Great Benin Ancestry and Edo State people at large

  *Oseghe Edo Association Ekae End of Year Celebration 2023 * Iyare! Iyare! It was yet another beautiful gathering of Edo sons and daughters from diaspora and in Benin City Edo state of Nigeria. Members and executives of Oseghe Edo Association join Ekae branch on end of year get together party held at coordinator's residence at Ekae, Ikpoba okha local government area of Edo state 10th of December, 2023. Among dignitaries present were Enowaen Nosa Idehen currently in Nigeria from Canada, Mr Osas Ayezuma, Mr Kelvin Uwaifo from Italy, Mr Simple Enabulele, cheif organiser of Oseghe Edo Association Diaspora community Ekae.  EDO STATE DIASPORA AGENCY A STEP IN RIGHT DIRECTION Edo state have very large migrants in Europe, America, Canada and Asia. In Spain, there are over a thousand Nigeria migrants with majority origin from Edo state.  Similar figure can be said of Portugal, France, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Ireland and some other Eastern Europe countries. Welfare of these great indigenes and citizenry of Edo state deserve just and fair representation. Benin city record  thousands of euros and dollars in transfers  from diaspora from 2001 to 2018 according to world bank statistical datas published. Most of these money transfers were made by Edo people in Europe, UK, America and Canada. There is need for Edo state government to institutionalized a diaspora agency for better management and communication Edo youths and children born in Europe with promising future and love for their father and mother land have increase over the years.
