Oseghe Edo Hia Diaspora Association Visit to Edo State Security Operative in Benin City

Today mark another important turning point  in the life of Oseghe Edo Hia Diaspora Association as Madam Meg Okao and Princess Aibiokunla Okao paid a cordial visit to Egun Village Joint Security Operative in Benin City. Edo State, 15th Of May, 2021. 

Madam Meg Okao speaking on behalf of Oseghe Edo Asociation commended the team for their security services render to the community. Based on the high security challenges in the region with chinese company close to the village and a high dense population or influx of hausa fulani migrants with  continuos threat of lives and properties, attack on farmers by herdsmen and other vises comfronting the community, there was need for a village joint vigilante group to support Nigeria police to policing the area.

Oseghe Edo Hia Diaspora Association wish to support Edo state village vigilante groups because most of threats are more obvious in villages and interious of the state.

    MAIN RESOLUTIONS :

    1. It was agreed that Oseghe Edo Association support Egun/Uwusan/Utesi vigilante group visited by Madam Meg Okao (Oseghe Edo Diaspora Association delegate).

    2. Apostle Steve Otamere was delegated and agreed to find out avaliability and cost of handcuf and jackets for the vigilante group to report back as soon as possible.

    3. Members were encourage to be steadfast and focus as road to greatness sometimes require patience, perseverance and dedication.

    Meeting was closed at about 20.30hrs

Members and executives of Oseghe Edo Association join Ekae branch on end of year get together party held at coordinator's residence at Ekae, Ikpoba okha local government area of Edo state 10th of December, 2023. Among dignitaries present were Enowaen Nosa Idehen currently in Nigeria from Canada, Mr Osas Ayezuma, Mr Kelvin Uwaifo from Italy, Mr Simple Enabulele, cheif organiser of Oseghe Edo Association Diaspora community Ekae. In Spain, there are over a thousand Nigeria migrants with majority origin from Edo state.  Similar figure can be said of Portugal, France, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Ireland and some other Eastern Europe countries.
