*Minute Of Meeting of  OGUEDION OSEGHE EDO ASSOCIATION 22ND OF NOVEMBER, 2025*

*Present At Meeting Was:*


1. Ogieva - (Spain)

2. Ayezuma - (Nigeria)

3. Robo Ogbeide - (Germany)

4. Ovbiolokun - (Italy)

5. Nosa Idehen - (Canada)

6. Donald - (France)


Meeting started at about 5pm and ended 7.:30pm.


*Discussion Ranging From:*


  • Notifying palace and Omo to always speak Edo language for communication

  • Change of igue festival from december to september as it was before Oba Akezua

  • Create a gofundme account to raise finance for group activities and engagements

  • Revive age group celebration at the palace

  • Create a calenda that present Edo festivals and traditional ceremonies across Edo Villages and towns

  • Open Oseghe Edo TV and Youtube media platform for showcase various Edo programs and activities

Mr Ayezuma was asked to get more persons to work with him in creating Edo cultural activities calenda


Closing motion was moved by Uwagboe Ogieva seconded by Brother Donald.

It is coined in the memory of what led to the 1897 war of the Benin massacre that cannot be forgotten or left to be buried in order to knowing it’s importance among other activities, as a reference point to tracing and in remembrance of how the artifacts looted by the British undertakers are where they are today in Britain.   *Oseghe Edo Association Ekae End of Year Celebration 2023 * Iyare! Iyare! It was yet another beautiful gathering of Edo sons and daughters from diaspora and in Benin City Edo state of Nigeria. Members and executives of Oseghe Edo Association join Ekae branch on end of year get together party held at coordinator's residence at Ekae, Ikpoba okha local government area of Edo state 10th of December, 2023. Among dignitaries present were Enowaen Nosa Idehen currently in Nigeria from Canada, Mr Osas Ayezuma, Mr Kelvin Uwaifo from Italy, Mr Simple Enabulele, cheif organiser of Oseghe Edo Association Diaspora community Ekae.
