Edo Diaspora Meeting With Dr Asuen Ighodaro PDP Governorship Candidate For Edo State

A high profile zoom meeting withness presence of The Governor of the national youth council Europe chapter Ambassador Collins Idahosa with various presidents of Edo diaspora organisations and Dr Asuen Ighodaro the people democratic party governorship candidate to discuss relevant issues and ideals moving Edo state forward from its current state of third world effect to developed world statue.


Among attendance were Dr Tony Agbon, Evans Gladys Osamuyimen, Uwagboe Ogieva, Mark Giwa-Amu,  Yusuf Idehen, Dr Osayemwenre Okungbowa, Engineer Isaac Igbinosun, Eddison Erhaighewu, Comrade Collins Idahosa, Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor, Austin Iremiran-UK, Dr. Asue Ighodalom, Emma Aigbedion, Amb. Joseph Ehigiamusoe and host of other from various countries across  continents 


Demands from contributors ranged from how will Dr Asuen Ighodaro relate with Edo traditional institution if elected Governor?, Implement and institute Edo diaspora agency earlier discussed and passed through Edo house of assembly, empower youths, promote economic and infrastructural development of Edo state? How will he do things different from other governors that have by one way or the other failed and betrayed people's trust and electorate mandate?


Dr Asuen Ighodaro after brief presentation of biography with a dive into his academic and professional life reassured Edo citizens in diaspora his readiness to meet Edo people's demand of effective and productive leadership. Promise to channel concerns of Edo diaspora group on demand for institution for Edo diaspora agency to governor Godwin Obaseki. He promise improvement on security, roads, turism, electricity, proper hinencing of Edo state natural resoucres to develop Edo state.

 EDO STATE DIASPORA AGENCY A STEP IN RIGHT DIRECTION Edo state have very large migrants in Europe, America, Canada and Asia. In Spain, there are over a thousand Nigeria migrants with majority origin from Edo state.  Similar figure can be said of Portugal, France, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Ireland and some other Eastern Europe countries. Welfare of these great indigenes and citizenry of Edo state deserve just and fair representation.
